Rembrandt’s Bio

Rembrandt is an elegant eye catching pony stallion with three outstanding gates, wonderful temperament, presence and character, all of which he passes on.

He has the most wonderful temperament and attitude to life and brings this to the table when working and competing.
Rembrandt is a very elegant warm blood pony who has the quality of his larger Oldenburg counterparts. This makes him a very versatile sire for the breeding of top sports ponies adding quality and elegance to native and part bred pony mares and being 145cm keeping them under height.
His elegance and quality makes him perfect for mare owners wanting to breed smaller competitive dressage horses without worrying about height. This Makes him an excellent sire for the new exciting Children on Horseback Championships.

His temperament can also help with the hotter warm blood mares improving rideability. Nothing seems to faze him he loves hacking with his stable mates and is totally bombproof. He seems to be passing this onto his early offspring that are now under saddle.

His UK off spring have been evaluated British Futurity Elites with three being the top scoring pony foals overall 2 years running covering dressage and eventing disciplines.
6 foals evaluated so far scored an average of 8.99
His early offspring in Holland are winning in the breeding ring and the competition arena. First Born Haya (Sandro hit) is a state premium mare and was honoured in the Brillant ring.

Vienna von sundance became Champion small pony with the Appaloosa society.

Drei Van Opstee became Champion NRPS of North Holland, Champion of her section at the National Championships and Reserve Champion overall with the highest award possible.

His first crop of British foals (2012) are under saddle and are looking exciting competition prospects not only for dressage but also for the show ring.
