Rembrandt awarded “Dancer Medal” by SPSS

Rembrandt and Maisie receive the SPSS Dancer medal

Rembrandt has been awarded ‘The Dancer Medal’ by the Sports Pony Studbook Society.

The medal was instigated by the SPSS in 2007, as testimony to the pony stallion Dancer, better known in the UK as Broomford Dancer. Dancer’s achievements include representing Holland and GB  at the Pony European championships as well as being the sire of ‘Golden Dancer’ and other top ponies. The SPSS Dancer Medal is an original piece of artwork in bronze commissioned by the SPSS and is modelled on Dancer himself.

“The SPSS Dancer Medal 2012 awarded to Rembrandt DDH and Maisie, in regognition of their International Competition career together”

This is such a lovely accolade for Maisie and Remy to receive, as it recognises the hard work and effort that the whole team behind Maisie and Rembrandt have invested over the last 2 years of their successful International career together. Rembrandt is an incredible pony and the past 2 years of competition have been memorable to us all. It is wonderful for him to have had so much recognition over the past months.

With this lovely Bronze, it takes Rembrandts medals up to one of each category  Gold in 2010, Silver 2009 and Bronze 2012!! We think he does the memory of Dancer proud as he has made his mark in the last Four European Championships and at only 11 years old he has many more years to add.

His progeny are now starting to come out under saddle and are looking fabulous so maybe he has already sired a pony to compare to Dancer’s famous son, the mighty Golden Dancer. We thank the SPSS for their recognition and their tireless support of these very talented ponies and look forward to being involved with the SPSS in the coming years with our own Rembrandt offspring. Thank you
