New friends made at the SPSS grading at Bury Farm

Maisie and Rembrandt receiving there Merit award and Remy his elite stallion grading

Rembrandt and Maisie had a great day out at the SPSS mare and stallion grading at Bury Farm. They performed their Kur in front of the mare and stallion owners and received the SPSS merit award and Rembrandt received his elite stallion grading from german judge Hans -Heinrich Bruening (pictured left). It was a lovely experience and great to see so many pony enthusiasts.  Sarah Steggle and Philippa Cole along with all their great helpers and committee members put on a well organised show and had great entries resulting in a waiting list!!

After the display Rembrandt had a busy time meeting mare owners in his stable and being petted and making lots of new friends. The team at Bury farm where friendly  and helpful. The new indoor arena and cafe look great its going to be a fantastic venue for 2012 and we look forward to returning soon.

It was lovely to go out and meet a totally new set of horse enthusiasts and see the diverse pony types that we have in this country and their qualities. Pony mare Glanhayl red Sonia owned by Kirsty Millard, who became reserve champion today, is in foal to Rembrandt DDH and due in July 2012 which is very exciting we wish them well and look forward to seeing them next year.
